Bilpin Public School draws from a diverse population comprising of orcharding families, self employed and professional people, many of whom travel long distances to work. Many people work on the land and in the local area.
The school is the focal point in the community with active parental participation in all aspects of school life and participation by the school in community activities is a feature of Bilpin Public School. The Bilpin Public School curriculum emphasises the basics of education, as well as, broadening the students' life experiences through extra curricula activities.
